The Geroba Artesa corten steel planter 60x40x100 cm 39kg is a beautiful addition to any garden. The Artesa flower boxes are available with or without a base, and the models with a base are equipped with 15mm feet and drainage holes. We also have them with extra high feet. This process can be accelerated to 2 to 3 weeks with a rust accelerator, available at the bottom of this page under recommended combinations. After the rust process, we recommend using a rust fixative to prevent rust water.
Planting Advice
For optimal drainage, we recommend applying a layer of pebbles of approximately 10 cm in the planter, covered with a moisture-permeable anti-root cloth. Make sure the cloth extends at least 10 cm upwards at the edges for best effect. Cover the anti-root cloth with a loose soil mixture that is suitable for the plants. Please note: do not tamp the soil, as this can damage the container.

Placement
The Litru is equipped with a loose base plate with 4 mounting holes. These holes have a diameter of 12 mm and are 20 cm apart. You attach the base plate to a concrete base (available at a DIY store). Then place the letterbox over it and screw it to the sides with bolts. The final bolts are included.

The letterbox is always delivered unrusted and gets its beautiful rust color/layer when it is outside. This process takes approximately 6 to 12 months. This process can be accelerated to 2 weeks by using the rust accelerator. The rust accelerator can be found at the bottom of this page under smart combinations.
After it is completely rusted, we always recommend applying a rust fixer. This ensures that the rust process stops and no rust water will come off the letterbox. The rust fixer can also be found at the bottom of this page under smart combinations.

Rust process
Corten steel develops a protective layer of rust when exposed to the outside air. The Litru Duo is delivered unrusted and will acquire its beautiful rust color within 6 to 12 months. Do you want to speed up the process? Then use our rust accelerator, which can shorten the process to just 2 weeks. The rust accelerator is available at the bottom of this page under recommended combinations. After the mailbox has completely rusted, we recommend using a rust fixer to stop the rust process and prevent rust water from escaping from the letterbox.
